He died in Middletown Township, Pennsylvania (then in Chester County, now in Delaware County), in 1728. About 1673 he became interested in the teachings of George Fox, and both he and his wife joined the Society of Friends. Fulbeck, in Lincolnshire, where the Monthly Meeting of Friends was held, is only a few miles east of Balderton. On the third day of the fifth month, 1684, he was granted by the Fulbeck Meeting a certificate of removal to America, in conjunction with Thomas Garrett, Hugh Parker, Henry Pennell and Richard Parker, with their wives and children, 'intending to transfer themselves beyond the seas to East Jersey in America.'     3. Mark, Do you have a copy of this publication? I've been trying to get one for ages. In the 1980s, I corresponded with Andrew and still have his letter in which he stated that he had seen the actual parish records for Robert's marriage and that Robert's wife was definitely Hannah Hyandson, NOT Elizabeth Hyandson. Evidently, /someone/ had transcribed the records incorrectly, skipping a line and picking up the name of Elizabeth instead of Hannah. So I'm surprised to learn that Andrew would have included this error in his otherwise precise genealogical research. Karen Greim Mullian kmullian@verizon.net Mark E.
