Good morning list, One way to get attention & info from a cemetery, is to ask who is paying for "the perpetual care," (the up keep) of certain graves. If the cemetery thinks you might be paying for any future up keep -- they unusually give info. Ask questions like: 1) My g-grandmother is buried at your cemetery -- is any or has anyone paid for "the perpetual care" of her grave? 2) How much is "the perpetual care" for one grave? 3) Well, how many graves have someone buried in, in that same lot or plot? 4) I don't think I know all these people -- could you give me their names? 5) Who purchased this gave plot? I used this ruse twice, when I was doing research on "Jack NICHOLSON" the actor & it worked both times! Helen M.
