I have a document titled "This Indenture". In it, it describes a tract of land as follows: "Situate in the Township of Concord aforesaid on the Road leading from Pleasant Hill Tavern to Smiths Mill. Bounded by lands of William Johnson, by lands of Samuel Russell and by lands of Messrs Potts and Kelt; Containing ten acres of land more or less with the appurtenances, and being so thereof seized as aforesaid died intestate." This document is dated 22 November 1869 and relates to the death of Michael Higgins who was an Irish immigrant, having immigrated around 1855. I am interested in finding a Deed record showing when and from whom he acquired this land. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to go about this. Thanks for any help. Kay Higgins Anstaett
