I am trying to find information on the some of the Hewes that lived in Delaware County in the Aston Township according to the 1850 census. The family I am looking for is John Hewes b. 1792 married to Ann b. 1797. Their children listed in the census are Andrew b. 1824, Hannah, b. 1826, John b. 1832, and Elizabeth b. 1836. I also believe that Samuel b. 1819 who married Phoebe Booth is their son. I know that Andrew married a Priscilla b. 1826 and children Elizabeth b. 1858 and Sallie b. 1859. Other than the descendants of Samuel and Phoebe, I know nothing about this family's descendants. I do know that the John who married Ann was born in New Jersey and is the son of John and Hannah Page Hewes and they also had a son named Samuel who married Ann Gilipin. Does anyone know anything about this family? I have tried searching but have found very little and would appreciate any help. Thanks. Luke Garrett
