What I know: Jonathan FORCE b. abt 1795 Pa married Ann McCOY before 1819. 1820 Census-Middletown, Delaware, PA 1830-Edgemont, Delaware, PA 1840-Nether Providence, Delaware, PA 1850-Upper Darby, Delaware 1860-Philadelphia (Pachallville-not far away) I know Ann McCoy Force died 16 Feb 1862 and is buried at Mt. Zion. Since Jonathan disappears after 1860 census I assume he died before 1870. Their children include John M. FORCE my direct ancestor born about 1819. married Elizabeth L.____before 1821. John was a master shoemaker in Clifton Heights. He died 1861 buried at Mt. Zion. Elizabet d. 1886 buried at Mt. Zion. Question: Is there a way to search for birth and marriage records? Cemetery records? They were undoubtedly Protestant. Jonathan's daughter Ann McCoy Force m. Martin Kochersperger at St. James Episcopal in 1849. Rebecca Howard Force m.
