Since they were in Philadelphia in the 1860 census, have you tried the Philadelphia City Directories for 1860 onward to see what happened to Jonathan. I have often been able to narrow my search down that way. It is even possible that Ann may be listed as a widow in the 1860 or 1861 directories. Also do you know anything about who bought the grave Ann is buried in? Who is buried with her? Sometimes that opens up doors we never knew existed.
