Kathy, Do you know who Dorothy Gilken's ancestors were? I'm curious if there is a connection. Sorry I don't know anything about the Waltons. Wow thank you, no I didn't know anything, these are my sister's, in-law's. But I grew up in Downingtown and our landlady was Dorothy Gilken and they think she may be related. I am having a hard time with the WALTON side. Anything you can help me with I would be very grateful. Kathy
Sorry no I don't (she married a Gilken) she was widowed by the late 60's. and they had 1 son who married my ex Riley. They lived on the corner of Rt 113 where there is a day care center now. Have you found Elizabeth (1821 England) in the 1880 census??? I can't find her anywhere.
