Maybe you could scan it and post the image to a website we could look at the hand writing, I've gotten pretty good at deciphering hand writing over the years. Some of these census takers handwriting is atrocious, plus would help to know the nationality of the writer, like old German an "s" looks like an "f". Give it a shot, I know a lot of others have gotten experience, with hand writing from reading census records.
