Hi, Mark, If I'm reading Concord Monthly Meeting records (Early Church Records of Delaware Co., PA) correctly, Robert Pyle Sr. of Bethel, widower, married Susana Turner of Providence Twp., Widow, on 10th mo. 30, 1720 at Chester Meeting House. Pennsylvania Wills, 1682-1834 PYLE, ROBERT. Bethel, yeoman. January 2, 1729/30. August 29, 1730. A. 322. To wife Susanna £100 and 1/2 household goods. To son William £50 and to his children £50 to be divided at 21. To son John all my right title to that 200 acres of land in Marlborough which I lately leased to one Holt on condition that he pay to his son Moses £30 when 21 also to his daughter Sarah Pyle £20 at 21 or married. To son Joseph £30. To grandson Robert son of Joseph my tract of land in Marlborough containing 224 acres. To son Daniel £70 paying to his daughters Susanna and Mary £15 each at 21 or married. To daughter Mary Moore £50, she paying to each of her children £5 at 21 or married. To grandson Aaron Vernon £15. To granddaughter Rachel Green £15. To George, James and Dorothy Turner my now wifes children £4 each. To grandchildren Saml. Pyle and the 3 daughters of son Robert 10 shillings each. Executors: wife Susanna and sons Wm. and Joseph. Witnesses: John Hopton, Rachel Hopton, Jos. Bradford. By his first wife Ann Stovey, d/o William of Hiperton, Wilts (m. Nov. 16, 1681), he had: Sarah, b. 11th mo. 27, 1682, d. 12th mo. 16, 1706, m. John Vernon 1702 Robert, b. 7th mo. 7 1684, d. 1717, m. Elizabeth Swaffer 1709 William, b. 11th mo. 1685, d. 1734, m. Olive Bennett 1707 John, b. 6th mo. 8, 1687, d. 1762, m.1) Lydia Thomas 1710, 2) Susannah Chamberlin 7/20/1716 Mary, b. 11th mo. 13, 1688, m. Thomas Moore 1713 Jacob, b. 1st mo. 5, 1691/2, d. 1754, m. Alice Bowater 1713 Joseph, m.1) Sarah Dicks 1715, 2) Sarah Pennell Gibbons 1732 Daniel, b. 5th mo. 29, 1694, d. 1730, m.1) Mary Chamberlin 1717, 2) Mary Pennell 1727 The published minutes indicate that he had two sons by his second wife Susanna (?) Turner -- Robert and Jacob -- but I think this is unlikely. Susanna died intestate in 1746, and her estate was administered by her son George. Hope this is helpful. Thy Friend, Karen
