Hi. I am looking for some help locating additional records related to the following: William Friel was murdered in Leiperville / Chester, PA, Saturday November 16, 1921. He was about 47 yrs old at the time. I have a Genealogy Bank article from the Philadelphia Inquirer about this event. Any idea where would I find additional news articles about his murder (maybe from a Chester, PA newspaper) or police / court records? I would also like to get a copy of his obituary. I am also looking for obituaries for his 1st and 2nd wives - both died in Eddystone/Chester, PA area. 1st wife - name not known, but she died after 12/23/1896 and before 1905. 2nd wife - Rose died between 1920 and 1930 census. These are my husbands great grandparents who I am researching as part of his family tree. This is my first steps into Delaware County research. All my prior research has been in Chester, Montgomery, and Luzerne counties. I live in North Delaware, so can do local research if I know where to go or look. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
