In researching my Chapman family I'd like to know their religious affiliation. George Chapman and his wife, Mary, were buried in St. Martin's Cemetery in Marcus Hook. George died in 1757 and Mary in 1771. Their place of residence was listed as Lower Chichester, which I've been told is now Marcus Hook. The Chapman family came to this area from Ireland ca 1743. Is there a list of churches for the period of 1743 through 1757? Also, does anyone know the history of St. Martin's Church? I have St. Martin's listed as an Episcopal cemetery. Was it always Episcopal? (Even though their origins are listed as Ireland, I know they weren't Roman Catholics.) Thanks for any assistance. Pat Pulasky
