Hi List! I know this is going to sound strange, but does anyone have or know where I can get the original pictures of the house that my home sits on from back in the 1890's-1950's? My property shows that back on the 1890's map that it was once owned by one of the Sam Riddles, either Senior or Junior here on what is known as Mt. Alverno Road in Middletown(Glenloch) for awhile known as Glenecho? Problem is my house is not the original house, but that of the owner who bought the property off of Sam Riddle Jr. after a fire destroyed the original Victorian house that once sat here. I know the Middletown Library does have pictures of some various older estates from the area, but has anyone noticed lately a picture of this location? I know there are tons of Frank Lees's pictures in the Upper Providence Library, but does anyone have any idea of when he started taking pictures? The Sam Riddle Estate might have already been gone by then as my house was built in the early 50's? How far back does Lees pictures go does anyone know off hand? Anyway, I would appreciate any help with this matter. Thanks so much, Esther On Jul 12, 2007, at 9:29 PM, TomYarn@aol.com wrote: > > In a message dated 7/12/2007 9:52:14 A.M.
