    3. Maurice H WHITLOCK was b: 10 May 1885, d: 05 May 1975 in Prospect Park, Delaware cnty, PA. 26 May 1904 he md: Ellen Frances EYRE b: 12 Apr 1885, d: 26 Feb 1975 in Prospect Park, Delaware cnty, PA. Their children were: Maurice H WHITLOCK b: 11 Mar 1905 Frank Ellwood WHITLOCK Harry Clay WHITLOCK Eleanor W WHITLOCK who md: Edmund A McCADDEN Ellen F (nee Eyre) WHITLOCK had possession of the EYRE family Bible. She spoke of her intention to give that family Bible to her son, Maurice H WHITLOCK. Maurice H WHITLOCK the elder was a Mason (Lodge No 578) and Ellen F WHITLOCK was a member of Eastern Stars Prospect Chapter 301. At the time of Ellen F WHITLOCK's death in 1975, Maurice H WHITLOCK the younger lived in Chester twp. I would very much like to find Maurice H WHITLOCK the younger's family to see if they still have the EYRE family Bible and would be willing to copy the pertinent family information pages for me. Ellen F WHITLOCK's parents are my grandparents.

    3. THAT information was a great help, Liz. The brother-in-law, head of household, was Maurice H WHITLOCK b:1885, d:1975; his wife, Ellen Frances EYRE also b: 1885, d: 1975. The Frank EYRE b: 1865, d: 1932, head of household next door would have been Robert Handy EYRE's father, with his mother, Eleanor Euphemia (Effie) URIAN b: 1865, d: 1953 and Effie's brother, Thomas Ellwood URIAN (2nd or Jr). 3. Too many Roberts in this EYRE line!! Color me red-faced!! Robert Hanby EYRE b: 02 Sep 1894, md: Alice I JONES we believe 30 May 1916. Robert Hanby EYRE had a son, Robert C EYRE supposedly b: c1908, thus the marriage to Alice I JONES may have been Robert Hanby EYRE's second marriage or the estimated birth date for Robert C EYRE is way off. Robert Hanby EYRE and Alice I JONES did have a son, Donald Harry EYRE b: 18 May 1924, d: 06 Mar 1925, and a daughter, Dorothy Elenor EYRE about whom nothing further is known. I am searching for direct tail male descendents of Robert C EYRE b: c1908 to Robert Hanby EYRE.

    1. [PADELAWA] MARRIAGE: Lascum/Canning 1854
    2. Hello listers - - At long last I now have a marriage date for g-g-gr parents John Henry Lascum and Charlotte Canning - - - - February 21, 1854. Recently discovered data indicates that they were married in Ridley (Twp?), Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Charlotte was Catholic, John was not - - - and I have no way to know in what church they may have been married. Are there any civil marriage records available for 1854? Probably not -- so, does anyone have access to any church records for this year? Any and all information is most gratefully appreciated, and thank you. 1. [PADELAWA] Mrs Bernard McINTYRE & Joseph WARD
    2. Good morning list, I just received the following news article yesterday & I was wondering if anyone has any pictures of the IHM Cemetery in Linwood, Delaware Co., PA. I'm especially interested in the double house that is being referred too, in this news article. 100 YEARS AGO - 1906 While trying to prevent a frightened cow from running away, Mrs. Bernard McINTYRE, who lives in the large double house at the Immaculate Heart Cemetery, was thrown to the ground with great force and fractured her wrist and forearm. It is not believed she will ever again have the use of her left arm. The cemetery is near Linwood and is in charge of Joseph WARD, formerly of Chester. He, also lives on the cemetery property next to Mrs. McINTYRE. She was taken to Chester Hospital and Dr. J. L. FORWOOD reduced the fracture before she was returned to her house in the cemetery. Ref: "Delaware County Daily Times" Saturday, May 20, 2006. NOTE: Mary (Ward) McINTYRE was age 44, at this time & had m. in 1904. Happy hunting, Helen (DCGS) ************************************** Get a sneak peek of the all-new AOL at http://discover.aol.com/memed/aolcom30tour
