Yes, Barbara, very much aware of that cemetery. The oldest legible stone there simply says "W.T. 1749". We assume it is William Tennis who was married to Magdalena Levering. William and Magdalena were my 6th great grandparents. Most of the TENNIS'S left this area before the Civil War. I'm not aware of any at Ambler, Montgomery co., but I'm interested. Especially the naming of TENNIS avenue that runs thru Ambler from Plymouth Meeting area. And lots of TENNIS relatives in Ambler, PA area - also Montgomery County? Some of the graves in that gravesite date back to pre-Revolutionary War timeframe. There is a family association that manages it, and some of the sites only have initials carved into slate with maybe a date of death, no names. Others are typical gravestones. I took photos of that graveyard a few years back, and am supposed to find them to post on a website shortly. Are you interested?
