Does anyone have any information on the Rokes family that lived in Dauphine County in the 1800's? John Rokes (born in 1802 in county of Sussex, England) married Mary Ann Buchanan in 1846 in (Dauphine Co.?) PA (d: 1846 and b: Methodist Cemetery, Halifax, Dauphine Co., PA) and they in turn had the following children Rebecca Emily, Joseph, Mary J., John William (died at early age) and John W. Rokes. Rebecca Emily Rokes married Luther Lucas (born in Union County, PA) who was the son of John and Hannah (Corl) Lucas. Thanks!
