They lived at 1824 Geyers Church Rd, Middletown and passed away in 1996.. How happy I am to have found it and see the pictures of the church and cemetery. I live in Bucks County, Pa.and do not get back to Middletown very often. My Husband's (Robert) family is also buried there. Maude and W. Ray Winters were his parents and his grandparents were Abram and Annie Geyer-Winters. His two brothers are buried there Larry and Donald Winters. He also had a brother who was lost at sea during WWII. In January we found his name listed on the casuality list of the ship "Rohna" which was sunk in the Mediterranean Sea November 26, 1943. His name was Homer M. Winters. You can read about this sinking at www.whidbey.net/rohna/rohna.htm In the North Africa American Cemetery ia a Memorial Wall which has his name on it. But we would like to put a marker ( In memory ) on his parents lot. Do you know who we can contact at the Geyers cemetery to see if this would be permitted? I would also like to know more about the Geyer family history. Do you have any information on the Geyer family or know who I can contact to obtain a starting point? I want to thank you for all the hard work you put into making this site available. You sure made my day! Thanks so much...........Dorothy Bobdotwin@msn.com Dorothy Beadle Winters: Per your request, I am forwarding you the e-mail address of Kenneth Espenshade, caretaker of the Geyer's Hillsdale Cemetery: mailto:espen1611@aol.com. Ken can give you procedures to be followed for your proposed memorial. Good luck. Regards, with regrets to Netscape6 users (what a mess!)
