They had 6 children: Benjamin (abt 1837), Alfred (b abt 1844), Jesse (b abt 1833), Elizabeth (b abt 1836), Emma (b abt 1842), and Clara (b abt 1846). Thomas listed in Fed. Census 1840 Middle Paxton, Dauphin; 1850 &1860 East Pennsborough, Cumberland Co. Benjamin married Mary Elizabeth Newman. Children - Claude John Brandt (b 1882), Ralph J. (b 1872), Georgianna (b. 1869), Elmer (b. 1863), Clarence Giles (b 1880), Alfred Newman (b ?), Lillie (b 1860), Pearl (b 1877). They had 3 other children that died at 1 year of age.
