My 2GreatGrand is David Hepford Jan.19/1814d.Jan.19/1883 husband of Susannah Lingle. They are buried at Paxton Methodist but church has no records. I can not find his parents. I am interested in Heppur listed under Middletown Cemetery Reinterments. Do you have any info? 1850 Census looks like Heppan but Ancestry list him as Heppard. Family notes say David was born in Lower Swatara. Any thoughts? Do I go to churches looking for a David born on Jan.19? Fred Nisley Wescott, Louisville, Ky. Fred :) Since you already searched the best sources (Church affiliations) I can't offer much help. I recently skimmed through a book listing the HEPFORD family, but don't recall it's exact title. It was written by, I believe, a Dininni, and is the history of Chambers Hill area, where the HEPFORD families lived. Someone on the Dauphin County listing may have that book or access to it, and might be able to help you out.
