The ECKERTS probably were not property owners or businessmen, since there is no paper trail in those channels. Perhaps your best action would be to find their church, and go through the church records, if any exist. Thomas ECKARD was the first high school Eckert/Eckard graduate since classes were recorded starting in 1886. Thanks for the YOUNG data, even though I could make no connections there.
