Rita, I saw your post and looked on my CD of newspaper abstracts for Lebanon County. There were two that looked interesting but don't know if they pertain to the Caroline you're looking for. Deaths, Der Libanon Demokrat: On the 4th of this month (Oct 1856) at the Dudley Furnace, George Washington, son of Francis and Lovina Mowrey, age 3 mo. 28 days. Deaths, Lebanon Valley Standard: On the 19th inst. (Feb 1872) at Millersburg, Berks Co., Kate, daughter of John & Caroline Moyer, aged 2 years, 11 mo., 8 days. Died of scarlet fever. By the way, there were a few Maurys on this list (no Carolines however). I have a couple of brick walls in my genealogy as well so I know how it is - you look for anything that is faintly similar.
