S. Postmasters in the Highspire Branch of the Post Office between 1829 and the present. The Post Office ground was donated by a STONER. So why can't I locate my wife's mother EMMA MAE STONER's relatives? EMMA STONER married HARRY CLAUDE WEALAND, who was raised and worked on an adjacent farm owned by JAMES YOUNG, (White Hall, Rosedale, Oak Lane, Thornton, Roland, or whichever). The Middletown Home not sits on that property, which is just down the road from the STONER FARM AND CEMETERY. The olde Stoner Farmhouse is now Brattina's Restaurant, along U S Route 230 in Lower Swatara Township. Does ANYBODY have any information on this branch of the STONER family? Was EMMA MAE STONER, indeed, a relative on this branch? The HIGHSPIRE, PENNSYLVANIA Post Office was established on December 2nd, 1829, and 3 (three) of it's Postmasters were: Henry Stoner, April 9, 1849 took charge Milton J. Stoner, March 30, 1872 U. S. Stoner, July 10, 1889 I'm most anxious to share information on the STONER clan with anyone, and am wondering which branch of the YOUNG family they may be related to. If interested, I can furnish pictures of tombstone data on many STONER and YOUNG family members -- Regards, with regrets to Netscape6 users (what a mess!)
