My great great grandfather Decatur Harrison COFFIN fought in the Civil War, it is his grave that I was hoping would be found, are there markers for Civil War soldiers? Is there away to get one of these?
I think every veteran of any of our wars is entitled to a free headstone, and if to be buried in a National Cemetery there is no charge for the funeral and burial. Try contacting your local US Office of Veteran Affairs.
