I am looking for anyone researching Richard CARSON in the Dauphin Co. area. My Richard CARSON was born about 1770's. He married Elizabeth IRWIN in Oct., 1798 and moved to Washington Co., PA, where they had 7 children before he died in the war of 1812. His father was also Richard CARSON (possibly the son of John Carson) who died in 1808, according to the Family Bible. As far as I know, Richard CARSON Sr. had at least two children: Richard CARSON Jr. (d. 1813) and Sallie CARSON (dates unknown.)
