He's in the 1910 Wickboro, Armstrong, Pa census, married 2 years to Emma Hughes with 2 children Calrence H. (b. abt 1908) and Earl (b. abt 1909). With them is his widowed mother-in-law, Jennie Hughes and his single sister-in-law, Elsie Hughes. They are in the 1920 and 1930 Hummelstown census, owning his own general store. In the 1920 census, the 1st 2 children are gone and they have 3 more children: Pauline M.(b. abt 1912); Charles M. (b. abt 1915); and Arlene (born abt 1919). In the 1930 census, the only children with them are: Charles M.; Arlene; Lillian (b. abt 1921) and Martha (b. abt 1923). So, in total, and just from the censuses, they had at least 8 children: Clarence, Earl, Pauline, Charles, Arlene, Lillian and Martha. Hope this helps, Sue
