    1. Re: [PADAUPHI] Egles notes
    2. I was going to write privately to Charles, but since he may have left the reader with a slight misunderstanding, I thought I ought to write... You can view the CDs without family treemaker. They have (or at least had) a reader that you can download for free. You do not have to buy their Family Treemaker. I own it. It suffices. But I suspect they are going to lose considerable ground if they do not avoid takeovers or selling out all the time. I think such maneuvers as forcing a customer to use a certain namebrand of browser to access the "special" data they have for FTM purchasers, and fiddling with the Internet Family Finder to force you to see 27,000,000 advertisements in the form of their CD's, instead of hand-picking what you want to search, is a sad turn for the worse. I always recommended this package, but I do not do so as freely now. Oh. If you have a newer FTM, you can upload anyone's files, but if you are about two steps behind, sometimes they are "not compatible." Convenient, forced, upgrading... I do agree, Charles, that one should feel sorry for Netscape 6 users. I use 4.73, and have never seen a better one.
