HI, I am looking for George and Elizabeth Rider. I feel certain they were in Dauphin County in the late 1700s. I have found two George Riders on census for 1790. What other places can I look? Where/who can I write to or call to ask? I understand churches would be a good place to look for birth/death records. How do you find them? Are there any good reference books for this area? I haven't got the slightest idea how to conduct a good, thorough, search at this point. Are there any libraries that can help? Thanks, Lisa Rider Shindlebower
