Marsha et al: DAUPHIN COUNTY cemetery research is continuing, and I believe I have found your HANNAH LOUISA CRABB!!! Grace Gluntz DeHart's book on the olde Sant Peter's Lutheran Kierch has all the interments in that old cemetery, and on plot designated 122: H. LOUISA CROBB, died December 7, 1846 -- close enough?? Sant Peter's Lutheran Kierch is on the corner of UNION and HIGH Streets, just one block up High Street from the Presbyterian graveyard formerly located on PINE and HIGH STREETS, From the location of the headstone (not in line with the rest), it may have been removed there at a date later than 1846. I still have to contact Funeral Director Woodrow Reber who, I understand, oversaw the reinterments from the Presbyterian graveyard. Keep tuned. Oh, would you like a photo of the headstone? -- Regards, with regrets to Netscape6 users (what a mess!) LOUISA CRABB, died December 7, 1846 - Photographs of H. Louisa CRABE(?) AND son Simon Cameron LAUMAN's Obelisks, along with those of William and ELIZABETH LAUMAN have been placed on the cemetery page at: <http://home.att.net/~charliefies/Kierch.html> H. Louisa Lauman has been listed as a recorded burial, but not found in the Kierch graveyard. Obviously because her Obelisk carries her maiden name as CRABE (see photograph), referencing to her husband, George M. LAUMAN. Their son's Obelisk carries the inscription....."who departed this life September 12, 1840, aged 2 years and 12 days." "Neither Rain nor Sleet nor gloom of Night (or whatever)" may not stay the Postman on his rounds, but it was snowing and getting colder in the cemetery, so I cut the photographs off short, maybe to a nicer day. > Sant Peter's Lutheran Kierch is on the corner of UNION and HIGH > Streets, just one block up High Street from the Presbyterian graveyard > formerly located on PINE and HIGH STREETS. > The photos have been uploaded uncompressed, so I suggest you save a copy of them right away. I'll compress them later, so that it doesn't take so long to download the Sant Peter's Lutheran Kierch page. I wouldn't do this for everyone, but I'm hoping to get some YOUNG data out of you! -- Regards, with regrets to Netscape6 users (what a mess!)
