Does anyone have any information about Peter Myers who was born approx. 1833 and was from Dauphin. We know for sure he had a sister named Margaret Myers who married John W. Wolf. Margaret was born 10/26/1826. Maybe siblings named George, John, and sister Dacilla. Margaret married John in 8/4/1842...Marriage Notes "The Marriage of Mr. John Wolf to Miss Margaretta Myers, all of East Pennsborough Township by Rev. N. J. Stroh" was published in the American Volunteer, a Carlisle weekly newspaper of Thursday, August 18, 1842. Peter died in the Civil War near Atlanta. He left a widow Saloma (Sarah Ann) Dillman Myers and 5 children, Susan Catherine, John Elliver, Mary Ann, Elijah Lincoln, and Jacob Arthur. After his death his sister Margaret wrote to Peter's widow that she had informed mother, sister and brother still in Pennsylvania that Peter had died and to mourn him.
