Dear List, I am looking for the marriage record of Leander S. Ferree to Catherine Gilbert. It probably occured 1865-1867 (their first child born May 1868) Do these marriage records still exist? If so, where can I write to get it and how much does it cost? I live in Salt Lake and they do not have marriage records for Dauphin Co., for this time period here at the family history library. Hello everybody, I understand that many family members of the KEGERREIS family are buried in the Hershey Meeting House located in Dauphin County. Another record states that they are buried in the Hershey Mennonite Cemetery in Dauphin County. (1) Is this one cemetery and what is it called today? (2) Does anyone have a phone number for this cemetery? I'd like to phone the cemetery. (3) Where should I write to obtain an obituary of someone who died in 1909, 1914, and 1942? (Three different people -- I made it should like one person! Sorry!) Hello, I am working on the Kegerreis family of Dauphin County. Franklin Fisburn KEGERREIS married Mary A. WELTMER 25 August 1883 in Hummelstown, Dauphin Co. They had several children and then Mary disappeared. Does anyone know anything about Mary WELTMER KEGERREIS? Dauphin Co did not record marriages until 1885. Your only hope is to find a church record of the marriage or in a very few instances the minister may have put a notice in a newspaper . The Dauphin Co Historical society has photocopied the records of a number of Harrisburg area churches which cover this time period.
