Hi all, Is anyone willing to look up an obituary for me PLEASE!? I'm trying to find one for my grt grt grt grandmother. I'm hoping it will list her remaining kids and where they are at. Mary L. HOCH (maiden name-Hocker) buried in Churchville/Oberlin Cem on Dec 19, 1915. She lived in and around Steelton. I really would appreciate it!!! A few of her kids just seemed to have dissappeared! Thank you!! Sharon Frank in Fl. sharon1@cfl.rr.com
Sharon, I hope someone out there has luck in finding your ggg-grandmother's obituary. I could not find my great grandmothers obituary in the local Harrisburg, PA newspaper, who died on May 8, 1915. Back in those days they did not list the deaths together in one section of the paper like they do today. The microfilm and the print was very difficult to read. Some day I will go back to the state library and try again. If someone lived in Harrisburg, PA, but died in Middle Paxton Township, Dauphin County what newspaper(s) would the obituary be printed in?
