I've "rescued" two old photographs belonging to the ZIMMERMAN Family of Pennsylvania. The first is one of Sam ZIMMERMAN which was taken at the Bernhard Studio in Lykens, PA. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1890's with Sam likely in his 40's at the time it was taken. The second photograph is identified as Harriett H. ZIMMERMAN and was also taken at the Bernard Studio in Lykens, PA. This second photograph also appears to have been taken in the 1890's with Harriett looking to be in her 40's or 50's at the time. Based on limited research I was able to locate some information regarding the couple as follows: Samuel L. ZIMMERMAN b. 20 Aug 1854 in Lykens, PA to parents Daniel & Sarah ZIMMERMAN. Samuel married Hattie TROUT on 7 Sept 1878 at Lykens, PA. I am hoping to locate someone from this ZIMMERMAN Family so that these wonderful old photographs can be returned to the care of their family.
