My next step is to compare Egle's transcriptions with other sources. All of the data was taken from Family Tree Maker's CD19 on Dr. Wm. H. Egle's "Notes and Queries of Pennsylvania" Third Series Volume I (Yingst on page 25). Taken directly from page 25: Yingst, blank, son of J, b. Dec 12 1795; d. Ap. 12, 1873. Yingst, Cath. (Sheller) wf/of J. b. Oct. 26, 1794; d. Nov. 15, 1836. Yingst, Cath, daughter/of J, b. May 4 1827; d. Mar 12, 1860. Yingst, Eliz., d/o J, b. Ap. 10, 1807; d. Mar 4, 1876. Yingst, Rebecca, d/o J, b. Aug 21, 1799; d/ Aug 29, 1860. I did/could not read the YINGST headstones to verify data. I hope this clarifies at least a little bit for you. Egle shortened the Wife of, Daughter of, Son of to simply wf, d, or s.
