Rhoda, Would Margaret be the Smith, Maggie, w/Jeremiah, b. May 28, 1837, d. Apr. 17, 1886, buried in the Old Union Cemetery? Is it possible he was in the Civil War and died? I happen to be looking through the Civil war card file on line at http://www.digitalarchives.state.pa.us/ and there are several Jeremiah Smiths listed and some of those are from Dauphin County. Just a possibility.
