I have thought quite a bit about this. I cancelled out my 4 great grandfather because he died too soon to answer some of my questions, but I think my 3 great grandfather, Samuel Leffler, might be able to help. I want to know if he was married before he married my 3 great grandmother and where his daughter Catherine was and if Mary was by a first wife. I want to know where his Uncle Adam Leffler ended up (I can't find him after the Rev War). And he should be able to tell me my 3 great grandmother's mother's name and how her stepmother was related to him. He could also give me leads on his brothers and sisters that I have not been able to track down with any certainty. I hope this is a long meal, because I have lots of questions. By the way, my granddaughter who is now 21, used to go to cemeteries with me when she was quite young. She learned letters by looking for names for me on tombstones. One day we were standing by my husband's ancestor and she said "Wouldn't it be nice if he could talk to us?" That's when I knew that she was already hooked and didn't know it.
