Hello to All, This is my first posting to the Dauphin Co. list. I live in southern California and am a music teacher by profession, but my other love is family history. My Dauphin County connection is George Jacob KING who married Magdalena KARBAUGH/KARBACH. I am descended from their son Jacob, b abt 1780 in Dauphin Co; Jacob married Mary SELLS, dau of Ludwick Sells and Catherine DEARDORFF. Recently I posted a query on the Dauphin Co. Query Forum; a few days later I received a notice that my query had been answered by Wanda J. Thompson. When I have tried several times to access the URL given in the notice, <http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Pa/Dauphin/2560> I am told the page cannot be displayed or that there is no such posting!!! I am still relatively new to computers and the Internet, so if someone could tell me how to access this URL, and/or find the posting, I would be grateful. And I hope that if Ms. Thompson reads this posting, she will contact me. Or if anyone can give me her email address, I would appreciate that, too. I have quite a bit of information about the descendants of Jacob King and Mary Sells but not much about his siblings.
