Hi Margie and to all others who may have some additional information: Here are the ZIMMERMANS I'm working on: The earliest documented ancestor, Michael Zimmerman B:1826 lived in Washington Twp, Dauphin Co. and is buried with many family members at St. John's cemetery outside Elizabethville, PA. I have not been able, as of yet, to come across records indicating who Michael's parents are. I have these names as oral remembrances of possible brothers: Daniel, Aaron, Peter and Jacob. The 1870 census of Dauphin Co., Williams Twp. Line 17 on page 20 there is a George W. age 8 listed living with parents Jacob & Catherine Zimmerman. Jacob is a brother of Michael. If any of you ZIMMERMAN researchers could lend a hand, I sure would be mighty grateful.
