Hi, all Are there baptism records available for Sant Peter's Lutheran Kierch, Middletown? I'm still trying to track down the Metzger grandchildren of John Metzger (1740-1826) and Anna Maria LaRue (1747-1826) in search of my ggg grandfather Francis LaRue Metzger (1795-1853) Thanks. `carol Carol Metzger Wilkerson

I had read through the olde records of Sant Peter's Kierch some time ago but don't remember EVERYTHING I read. If I happen to do it again, I'll check for LaRue references. To the best of my knowledge they have all been transcribed but not electronically recorded. -- Regards, with regrets to Netscape6 users (what a mess!) For instance, LaRue Metzger was born April 24, 1816, and baptized April, 1817 in Sant Peter's Kierch. He was s/o Joseph METZGER, b. Dec 23, 1789, s/o JOHN METZGER and ANNA MARIE (MARY) LaRUE b. January 10, 1747. There were 13 siblings. Anna Marie (Mary) was d/o Johan LaRue b. Aug 4, 1709 in Switzerland, who was s/o Johan George LaRUE, a Switzerland native. There are many other details on Francis Larue Metzger, who was apparently a statistician and historian, quoted by Egle for his many contributions to his "Notes and Queries". One of your ancestors was instrumental in the founding of SANT PETER'S LUTHERAN KIERCH, in Middletown, PA. Regards, with regrets to Netscape6 users (what a mess!)
