I have a copy of Eagle's notes that I paid the full price for a year ago. There were no instructions with it either. I am using FTM ver 6 and the CD is almost automatic. I have not tried to open it outside of FTM. Just click on the CD in the command line and an index screen comes up. click on the box that says search expert and have fun. I click on the box that says search for some NOT in my family file. You get more results that way. The fine print on my CD says that you need FTM 3.02 or higher for windows or version 3.03 or hinger Family Archive Viewer. J. Ray Young
