    1. [PADAUPHI] Hill Church -1762

    3. William Henry Egle's Notes and Queries refers to Hill Church in Derry Township, (I believe in present day Dauphin County.) I do not have access to these Notes and Queries and can not check this - but the MATER Baptism I am interested in was dated 1762. Egle's Notes were first published in the Harrisburg Daily Telegraph between 1879 and 1895. Since Dauphin County was formed in 1785 Egle could properly refer to Hill Church in Derry Township, Dauphin County. But at the time of the Baptism in 1762 the church would have been in Lancaster County. Would someone please confirm that there was a Hill Church in 1762 in Derry Township, in what is now Dauphin County that was in 1762 Lancaster County. If the church is still extant where is it located? I have already had most helpful info from several researchers on these lists which has allowed me to sort out some of my confusion and I would appreciate your further assistance. Regards to the list Hal

    3. I have the CD-Rom CD019 Egle's Notes and Queries. I will make a one- shot volunteer effort for anyone reading this letter, in doing lookups. I would offer it more, but I expect I might be swamped, endlessly. It is a great database. I can send you scans of the pages. Jpg files. I cannot possibly type the requests out.
