    3. Joan, So sorry to hear the sad news. Charles was, indeed, very helpful and generous with his time with those on this list. May the Good Lord grant him eternal rest. Thank you for letting all of us know. 1. [PADAUPHI] Gratz Bicentennial Book
    2. Ray Rhoads
    3. I understand that Gratz Township published a book for its bicentennial several years ago that had information on many of the early setterlers of the town. Does anyone have this book and does it mention anyone with the family name of SCHREINER? Ray Rhoads

    3. Ray, The book you refer to may be 'A Comprehensive History of the Town of Gratz Pennsylvania' put out by the Gratz Historical Society. As far as I know it is still available from the Society. I counted over 50 listings for SCHREINER in the index. 3. My paternal great grandmother, Ann Jane Shive, was born in Gratz in 1823. I would greatly appreciate someone checking the index of the Gratz history to see if that family is listed. Thanks much! William H. Penrose (my family came from Lykens and Millersburg) From: padauphi-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:padauphi-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Jay M.
