    1. [PADAUPHI] MILLER, SHOOP, MORGAN in 1887 newspaper
    2. Lynne
    3. (I am not related to any of the parties mentioned here, but I thought this might be of some genealogical interest to descendants. From the Friday, April 15, 1887 Lykens Register newspaper) "CENTRE VIEW LOCALS: Michael H. MILLER was unlucky last week. He wanted to discharge Nathaniel SHOOP's shot gun, which was loaded very hard, and the gun kicked him in his left eye. and Isaac P. MILLER received a Triumph self-binder, reaper, and mower from the firm of D.S. MORGAN, for which he is an agent. The self-binder seems to be quite an improved mchine, as when folded it can pass through a ten-foot gate." Lynne

I would like to apologize to the person who e-mailed a week or so ago to ask if any of their family was mentioned, as that e-mail is now lost in an ocean of e-mails in my inbox. As I have since received a few other similar requests, I can only say that I am happy that these posts may be of some interest and I hope that the daily trickle is not irritating. I am only about a third of the way through this BIG page with TINY printing and I am reading the items for the first time as I go along, so I cannot tell anyone if their family names are on the page and must ask only that you read along with me, to see if they are.
