I am still trying to track down those pesky Huffnagles (with various spellings) in Dauphin County. I just found out that one of them had a child, FLORENCE, christened at Zion in Lykens. I know some people on this list have books from some of the churches. If someone has a book (or access to records) from this church, I would appreciate a lookup. Her father was George B and her mother was Annie. Her brother Hiram also may have been christened there and they may have been married there. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Margaret

First: Google "Dauphin Co PA death certificates" The first thing you see is a listing for a page that gives links about vital records http://www.vitalrec.com/pacounties5.html SCROLL DOWN towards the middle of the page and there you have it! The address, telephone number, of the courthouse and historical society. You even have links for ordering on-line if you want to do so. Friends--- I need help...................... Anna R. Leaman died on December 27 1893 in the Harrisburg area. I know the date is correct, as I have the letter her son Charles wrote from Harrisburg to his brother Freddy in Mercer County PA stating the date of her death and the date of the funeral in Harrisburg. Background..... Anna Rebecca Coen was born about 1849 in OH, probably Steubenville OH. She married Alexander S. Guerin in Florence PA in November 1865. They had five children-----Luella, Charles, Edward, Freddy, and Willie. The marriage between Anna R. (Coen) Guerin and Alexander Guerin is terminated either through divorce (haven't found that yet) or he died on a construction job in CO (also haven't found that yet). She and four of her five children move into the Allegheny County Poor House. The daughter moves in with her grandmother, and then three of the four boys are farmed out around PA to be raised by others. The youngest boy remains in the Poor House. In September 1881, Anna has a 2nd marriage to James B. Leaman in Pittsburgh. It is not a good marriage. She had hopes to bring her children back to her, but her 2nd husband would have none of that. (As you can see this is a 10 Kleenex story.) So..... How do I find her 1893 death certificate? Can someone get this for me, or tell me how to get it? How do I find where she is buried? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance, George Hoyt in CA **************Psssst...Have you heard the news? I descend from Eve Coleman and David Brosius, I have George Coleman's estate papers and I'm wondering what happend to his son John. In the middle of the list of children is the name John Coleman deceased. If this John Coleman was dead and the son George was named in the same line with Catharine the widow. Who was the John Coleman deceased? Please don't tell me I'm the only one who picked up on this. I've copied and pasted the part of the document that I'm asking about.
