The following cemeteries have been completed and the information from legible tombstones has been recorded in Find-A-Grave. For your convienence, I included a hyperlink for each cemetery. You can also go to the Find-A-Grave <find-a-gravehttp://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gs&> home page and search the entire website by surname. Many of the entries for these cemeteries also have family links, photographs, and obituaries atteched to the memorials. Hi everyone I am looking for anyone who would want to trade researching services. I live in Utah and have access to the LDS Family Library in Salt Lake. They have several microfilms and books. I would be willing to trade hours of researching there for hours of researching newspapers at the Pennsylvania State Library in Harrisburg. I was going to get microfilms through interlibrary loan, but they are $10 a microfilm. I am mostly looking for obituaries and this is just too much for me to pay right now. If anyone is interested, please email me and we can work out the details. If you want to see the catalog at LDS Family Library go to www.familysearch.org and click on library tab, then catalog. Yes, that is him!!! Thank you so very much!!! I had tried to find him at Heritage Quest just by using his first name, age, and location. I wonder why he didn't show up? Maybe he is also mis-indexed at HQ as Figler and I didn't see that. >From now on this will teach me to look through all the results of searches like this and look for locations as well as the surnames that I think should be there!!! I will be able to find the HQ image using the Ward and District numbers. The Lloyd K. is not my grandfather, but thank you for checking. Thanks again! And that settles my question as to whether he was married at that time----he wasn't. The previous page is Sheet No 1 B if that helps any. The following page after the right census page is also missing the top portion. On ancestry.com - it's page 3 out of 21 for the following: You are here: Search > Census > U.S. Census > 1910 United States Federal Census > Pennsylvania > Dauphin > Harrisburg Ward 7 > District 73 E. Hello, I'm hoping someone will be able to help me find my grandfather in the 1910 census. His name was Lloyd Emerson ZEIGLER (AKA ZIEGLER, ZEGLER, ZIGLAR, SIGLAR, etc) In the 1908 Boyd's City Directory he is listed as living at 628 Meunch Street. In 1915 he is living on Dauphin Street. Both are in Harrisburg. He died in 1918 of the Spanish flu just two weeks before my father was born. I am trying to determine if he was married before he married my grandmother (Zella May CRIMMEL). They were married in 1914. He migrated from Perry County and she lived in Juniata County so I guess it is possible he could be in one of those areas in 1910. Thank you for any help, Elizabeth
Followup - Was doing some research in churches and cemeteries down at the Dauphin County Historical Society. They have a copy of the markers that was published in a newsletter of the Keystone Seekers back in 1985. You could go down and view or they would probably make a copy for you if you contacted them.
