    2. I did a google search for the book and it was published by the Gratz Historical Society. Have you tried getting in touch with them? PO Box 507, Gratz, PA 17030. I found an online reference to a book called A Comprehensive History of the Town of Gratz, Pennyslvania that states that page 117 in the book refers to the marriage of Mary Magdalene Harpster to George (John George) Hoffman, abt. 1807. The is a 1997 book so it is not available online. Is there anyone who might have a copy of the book who would be willing to copy the applicable page, the title page that shows the author and the printer information. 3. Oh, I am so disappointed. I was wondering if it was just that the newspaper did not print it. I guess I will never know the rest of the story. This was my grandfather's brother. My grandfather, Lloyd Zeigler, died in the 1918 flu epidemic just two weeks before my father was born. I'm trying to trace all the family who came from Perry County, PA to the Harrisburg area. Many thanks to all of you who tried to help. 3. Re the truncated Harold H. Zeigler article, the page and newspaper as it appears on Ancestry was not cut off. The problem seems to be a layout error by the newspaper, as the remainder of the article is nowhere else on the page or the following (last) page.

    3. Hi Elizabeth, I only saw just what you saw. Checked all the pages and the next day. I did notice that Ancestry did not have entire pages (all the way down to the bottom). The rest of the article you want is most likely below "Rheumatism", however when they microfilmed it they did not film entire pages. Every page was cut off. How frustrating. So sorry. 1. [PADAUPHI] 1920 & 1921 City Directory for Harrisburg?
    2. E. Wolfe
    3. Hello, Would anyone have access to the 1920 & 1921 City Directory for Harrisburg, Dauphin Co, PA? I am trying to pinpoint what year my ggrandfather died. His name was Solomon ZEIGLER (ZIEGLER). He and his wife, Cora, are in the 1920 'census' in Harrisburg. But Cora is a widow in the 1922 'city directory'. I need to see what it says in the directories for 1920 and 1921. Thank you in advance, Elizabeth

    3. Thank you Roger and Bill. I have never been able to find a record of Catherine Henninger's baptism, January 1815. Further I am frustrated that researchers of Sebastian and Barbara have never acknowledged nor mentioned that there was one boy and one girl under 10 years of age on the 1800 census. At the baptism of Catherine and Jacob Fleischer's first born Harriet, b.1834, Sebastian and Barbara were the sponsors, leading me to speculate that Catherine was their daughter. We all know that Sebastian could be an uncle, too. 1. [PADAUPHI] Help needed
    2. Can anyone help with this request from a person in Holland? "Please assist me in regard of the following. I have an interest in WW 2 history, especially in the US servicemen that fought for our liberation. I do research about US servicemen that were killed in WW 2 and are/were buried in the US Military Cemetery in Holland, near where I live. I am searching information about and in particular a picture from: Arnold Goldberg, PVT. His Army service number: 42176260. He was born in 1920. According to NARA he resided at Dauphin County, PA (Harrisburg). He enlisted July 26th, 1944. He was killed in action April 16th, 1945, in Germany, and was a member of 36th Armored Infantry Regiment (3rd Armored Division). He was buried in the US Military Cemetery in Margraten, Holland. In particular I am seeking a picture from him. There may have been some kind of article in a newspaper in 1945, or in a yearbook from his school. Local societies were not able to help. Any info/help will be welcome." Thank you in advance, best regards from Holland, Antoine Nouens bulge@hotmail.com

Elizabeth Tharp died Feb. 28, 1913, probably in Elizabethville. Please contact me off-list if you can help.  Thank you very, very much.  Rich oldbat153@yahoo.com
