Sue, Yes, there are STUTZMAN people in Perry County connected to my line. My greatgrandfather was Adam STUTZMAN - his uncle Johann Adam STUTZMAN was baptised in Himmel's Church, Northumberland Co. in 1787 - Johann Adam married a Barbara SCHMIDT (Smith) - in Berks Co., they moved to Perry Co. and stayed there lifelong. I'd like any burial records you find on the Perry Co. people - I'd like to add those to my webpage: www.angelfire.com/sc/elida This is being sent to entire list, due to the increased interest this year in tracing the United Brethren, Lutheran, and Episcopalian STUTZMAN lines. The Anna STAUFFER may be one of mine, also. Thank you for your kind offer of look-ups. Hi Elida, I did not find any listings for WEARY, WEHRY, STUTZMAN or STUTSMAN in my book. I have been told that the LDS Family Centers have Volume I & II available for research. Hi all, Does anyone have any record of a William (Willie) HOCH b. 1862 in Mifflin Twp, Cumberland Co. S/O Samuel HOCH and Mary L. HOCKER. ?????????????? Thanks! Sharon Frank sharon1@cfl.rr.com
Idon't know about the coal mines but vital records prior to 1906 in PA are kept at the county courthouses. For births/deaths write to Register of Wills, Orphans Court, in the county seat of county where event occurred. www.familytreemaker.com/00000267.html will give you a list of courthouse addresses for counties in PA. Also you may want to read info./tips on PA vital records at www.vitalrec.com/pa.html. Good luck!

Hi, there are no Official death records, at that time, in 1852, they did for a year, the the counties started in 1893-1906, when the State required them to be kept. the only records for your time frame are church and cem records, for the Lykens area. I have some of those records and may be able to help, if you let me know, what your after!!!
