My great-great-grandmother Elizabeth Eisenhauer was born August 22, 1819 died February 17, 1909 buried in St. Mary's Cemetery, Lebanon, PA Her husband is Samuel Allwein, born April 2, 1817, Lebanon, PA Died October 5, 1885 Buried in St. Mary's Cemtery, Lebanon, PA My question I do not know her parents, or anyone in her family.     2. Hello List I would like to talk to anyone researching the Bumgardners of Dauphin County. My George Bumgardner b. 1790 PA married Barbara b. 1795 PA and had Rebecca b. 1815 PA and Isaac b. 1824 PA. They then move to Indiana sometime after 1830 and before 1841.     3. The children of the Liebrich family from Manheim (Lancaster Co) married into families from Lebanon and Dauphin Counties around the turn of the century (1800). Do any of these families ring a bell with you? Elizabeth PETERS m. Daniel Henry Liebrich (b 30 May 1773). Moved to Lebanon, Pa after marriage where he was a saddler, then moved to Virginia about 1810 to continue raising their family. After Elizabeth's death in Virginia, he remarried to Nancy Tinsley, nee Sandiger. Mary MOHR m. George Liebrich (m. 17 Mar 1801). Was a tanner in Northumberland and Union counties, then built a tannery in Halifax, Dauphin Co in 1812. Also conducted a general store. Lived in Halifax until his death. Jacob SWENTZELL m. Elizabeth Liebrich. Nothing known of this family's history. Jacob ERBEN (URBAN) m. Mary (Maria) Liebrich. Nothing known of this family. John EBERLE m Salome (Sarah) Liebrich (m 1 Jul 1810). Dr. John Eberle graduated M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, 1809, and practiced first at Mannheim, later at Lancaster, and after 1814 in Philadelphia, Pa. In 1822 he helped to establish the Jefferson medical college, Philadelphia, in which he was professor of physic, 1825-30, and professor of materia medica and lecturer on obstetrics, 1830-31. He then resigned to accept the chair of materia medica in the Medical college of Ohio, in Cincinnati. In 1837 he removed to Lexington, Ky., and was professor of the practice of medicine in Transylvania University until his death. He was an editor of several medical journals, including the "Medical Recorder" of Philadelphia (1818-23). He published: "Botanical Terminology" (1818); "Treatise on the Diseases and Physical Education of Children" (1819); "Treatise on Therapeutics and Materia Medica" (2 vols, 1822); and "Notes of Lectures on the Theory and Practice of Medicine" (2 vols, 1844). Daughter of Frederick Schaffner and Catherine Deibler. (I have a lot of Schaffner info.) Do you have this Samuel Nissley in your files? I would appreciate any information about him.
