2. Kelly, The newspaper that you want will probably be the Harrisburg Patriot. The PA State Library in Harrisburg has an excellent Newspaper room. I'm not sure that they will do look-ups for you. You can try this link to their web-site, State Library of Pennsylvania. Good luck, Donna Thomas

3. I would appreciate if anyone could tell where I might find the newspaper records (to find an obituary) for my John B. Sheaffer who died Oct. 9, 1903, in Enhaut. Is there any newspaper that a person who lived and died in Enhaut might be listed in? Thank you, Kelly Selcher _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com

2. Karl, I really appreciate this information, but I need a URL for this newspaper. I want to view the obits, and my attempts to get there from the Dauphin page put into an Ancestry search that requires a PAID subscription, which I don't have and don't want to get. I seem to have lost the URL that I had for newspapers on line nationwide. Would appreciate that, too, if you have it. 1. [PADAUPHI] 1820/1830 Dauphin Co., PA census--YEAGER
2. Terri Hauk
3. Hello all, I would like to request a look-up from anyone who might have access to the 1820 and/or 1830 Dauphin Co., PA census. My cousins and I are still(!) stuck on our gg-grandfather, George W. YEAGER, b.~1829, maybe in Harrisburg, Dauphin Co., PA. His father was from NY and mother from England. Family lore says his father was also 'George' and he may have had 3 brothers. The indexes of the 1820 and 1830 censuses show the following: Yeager, George State : PA County : Dauphin Co. Location : Harrisburg Year : 1820 Page # : 087 Yeager, George State : PA County : Dauphin Co. Location : Harrisburg Borough Year : 1830 Page # : 043 Yeager, Goerge State : PA County : Dauphin Co. Location : Harrisburg Borough Year : 1830 Page # : 049 These would of course be George W.'s father, George, as head of household in 1820 and 1830. George W. is first documented in a census in the 1850 Preble Co., OH census as a 20 yr old cabinet maker with no other YEAGERs around. The Harrisburg connection comes from George W.'s youngest daughter's marriage record that states her father was born in Harrisburg, PA. Family lore suggests this family might have been in Yeagerstown, PA at some point. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance. Best regards, Terri McDonald Hauk thauk@home.com California
