    3. Hi Charles, Did your STONERS move to Ohio? I have a family around Ashland that married into my SINGER family. Her name was Anna Stoner and married Charles Emery Singer on Nov. 9, 1892. She died after child birth in May of 1893, at age 20. I may have more on her family from newspaper accounts if you think she may be related. Myrna mybill@msn.com

    3. Hello, I just came across the name Leopold Amon in a book of the Banat. The book is in German, but the caption clearly reads that Leopold had some connection to Harrisburg, PA. It also provides his father's name--Josef. I don't know if anyone on the list is researching this surname, but if anyone is interested, I can be contacted of list, and I will gladly share the information. 3. The Shell Cemetery, also referred to as Shellsville, Shells Evangelical and Shell Lutheran & Reformed, is in East Hanover Township. A partial listing of the cemetery is on the Dauphin County GenWeb site. http://maley.net/dauphin If you go to http://maley.net/atlas and look at the East Hanover map, you can find the cemetery to the left of Earlysville just above the J. 3. Hi! I'm new to posting - I've been just reading for awhile. I'm researching the names VANHORN and BATES in Dauphin County. I'm wondering if anybody knows where Hoffman's Woods are/were. My ggrandfather, Charles Henry VanHorn, apparently lived on a farm next to these woods, as written in his obituary in the Harrisburg Telegraph in Jan, 1882. I know where his father John Wesley VanHorn lived, since it's listed on the 1875 Susquehanna Township map, but I don't know about Charles. Thanks! 3. Hello to All, This is my first posting to the Dauphin Co. list. I live in southern California and am a music teacher by profession, but my other love is family history. My Dauphin County connection is George Jacob KING who married Magdalena KARBAUGH/KARBACH. I am descended from their son Jacob, b abt 1780 in Dauphin Co; Jacob married Mary SELLS, dau of Ludwick Sells and Catherine DEARDORFF. Recently I posted a query on the Dauphin Co. Query Forum; a few days later I received a notice that my query had been answered by Wanda J. Thompson. When I have tried several times to access the URL given in the notice, <http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Pa/Dauphin/2560> I am told the page cannot be displayed or that there is no such posting!!! I am still relatively new to computers and the Internet, so if someone could tell me how to access this URL, and/or find the posting, I would be grateful. And I hope that if Ms. Thompson reads this posting, she will contact me. Or if anyone can give me her email address, I would appreciate that, too. I have quite a bit of information about the descendants of Jacob King and Mary Sells but not much about his siblings. I will be happy to exchange data with others researching these KING and KARBAUGH lines. Thanks, Jane M. Atherstone

They were living in Harrisburg, Paxtang, and Susquehanna Twp. Would be interested in hearing from anyone researching this family.. The Bealor's living in Paxtang were W. Ross, died 1955 and Belle B. Bealor, died in 1959. Original Bealor was Bernhard Bealor who lived in Berks County, and then his son Marks who died in Perry County..
