    1. [PADAUPHI] German Churches
    2. Can anyone tell me of German-speaking churches in York County in the 1850s? I know the families I am searching were German-speaking, and after 1859, I have found records in German church (Protestant) in Butler Co Ohio. I believe, however, at least three marriages and three births took place in PA, in York or Dauphin County. Thanks, Edie Rudolph

    2. robert
    3. I'm looking for my uncle (Clarence Manning ) who lived near Harrisburg and worked at thr Naval Depot for several years and his son also worked there. He was living there in 1947 when my Mother ( his sister ) visited. I have never seen him although Mother said that he had a son and grandson at the time. I think he and his son were supervisors at the depot. I don't know anything about him or when he died. He was born to Helen and James Manning on 1892. I think he was born in Phila. Thankyou. 3. Cemetery Researchers, Karl: A few inquiries have been posted relative to putting various cemeteries in web pages, but not everyone knows how to do it. May I suggest checking out my MummaCem.html page, Mumma Cemetery<http://home.att.net/~charliefies/MummaCem.html> then viewing the source code. It is under 3 KB in size, and anyone knowing how to enter data into a spreadsheet or database can do it if so inclined. A simple start would be to set up several columns in a spreadsheet or database, for name, born, died, etc., then typing in that information. That being done, get the source code from ANY page you like, such as the MUMMA Cemetery listed above, or the Forgotten Cemeteries listed below (a lot larger and more complex). Forgotten Cemeteries <http://home.att.net/~charliefies/Forgotten.html> Cut and paste (or copy) the HTML coding you copied from MummaCem.html and your page is ready to make available to everyone on the internet. Almost. Personalized specifics, questions, or whatever will be happily responded to. Regards, with regrets to Netscape6 users (what a mess!) 1. Re: [PADAUPHI] Wirth's Cem. information
    2. Hello Jay I'm looking for a list of whose buried in Wirth's Lutheran Church Cemetery. Henry Baumgartner and his wife Eliazbeth Breth Are buried there and I thought maybe Their son's (George Bomgardner) first wife Christina Gerret might be there. They would have been married 7 Nov 1809 in Lebanon Co. But I thought I would search here first since I knew where George's parents were buried. George and his second wife Barbara Unknown left after 1830 for Indiana never to return. I'm a descendent of this George. and perhaps his first wife was the mother of my g-g-g-greandmother. Is there a list somewhere of whose buried here whith dates? Thank you Joe Evans

    3. Joe, Is there any connection you are aware of between this Christina and Catherine Bumgartner m. Joseph Osman, both of whom are buried at Wirth's? Catherine died 11/18/1869, age 74. What would you like to know about Wirth's? It is located a few miles NE of Millersburg on Rt. 25. The older cemetery is to the west (rear) of the newer one. 3. LELANDTIGER on the Dauphin County, Pa list asked: > Is anybody working on the Booser family tree? I am looking for information on > a Anne Booser who married a Jacob Eshenauer, son of Frederick Eshenauer and > Mary Gayman. If you are not on the Bowser_List <BOWSER-D@rootsweb.com> you should be. You probably know that it is documented that Swiss, German speaking families, with names like Busser became Booser in the American Colonies. There is an early Booz(s)er family in PA that is still extant with that name - I think in Texas - and they have a web page also. Pardon me if you already know all of that. Regards Hal

    3. Hi Roger - I am not researching the MOTTER family but I have a Barbara Catherine MOTTER who m Mathias EBERMAN in Lancaster in 1813. I know nothing about her but her name, but I have a lot on EBERMAN (Mathias's mother was Elizabeth FRANK, a daughter of my immigrant; most of the Lancaster EBERMANs are FRANK descendants). It is all on my website: http://bcwright.home.netcom.com/janhome/ if you are interested. I would like to know a bit more about Barbara if you have it. Since then my own updated line which I had posted as a home page on FTM as appeared on two CD'last year. I also was furious. I was not aware that those posted to genforum were also being copied & sold what a rip off to the general public. Gwen Renshaw Maurer in CA
