He was a successful man. At first I thought he was a signer of the Declaration of Independence. He was not, but it is easy to confuse the two. Our James Wilson had a large family. He married a second time, to Margaret Kilgore, in 1805 and had another family. Farmer (perhaps lawyer) in Cumberland Co. Will on file.
